Simit — Terms of Use

Simit (the "game") is provided by ElliSekiz LLC ("we"). By downloading and playing it you accept these terms. Apple's standard App Store licence agreement (EULA) also applies and prevails if the two conflict.

1. Licence

We grant you a limited, non-transferable licence to use the game for personal, non-commercial purposes. The game's code, art, sounds and texts belong to us or our licensors. Sourced facts in the game (such as district and place cards) are shown under their own licences, credited on each card.

2. In-game items

• Coins, lives, boosters and other in-game items have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred.
• Paid content is fixed: you see exactly what you get before you buy. We do not sell random paid content.
• Purchases are made through Apple and follow Apple's terms; refunds are requested from Apple. If Apple approves a refund, the related items may be removed from the game.
• Limited-time offers really end when shown; we do not use fake countdowns.

3. Fair play

You agree not to cheat the game, its server or purchase verification, not to use cheats, automation or modified clients, and not to disrupt other players. Race results are verified by replaying them on the server; we may remove a player who breaks these rules from rankings or the service.

4. Nickname

Your nickname must not contain insults, hate speech, someone else's identity or personal information. We may reset an inappropriate nickname.

5. The service

The game plays offline once downloaded; purchases, cloud backup, new levels and the race need an internet connection. We may change content, balance and features to improve the game, and there may be interruptions for maintenance or technical issues. If we end the service, we will announce it in the game at least 30 days in advance.

6. Liability

The game is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage or data loss (the cloud backup reduces this risk). Your statutory consumer rights are not limited by these terms.

7. Privacy

How we process data is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Governing law

9. Changes

We update the date on this page when these terms change and announce important changes in the game.
